Section 749.831 - What is the orientation requirement for caregivers and employees?(a) Prior to beginning job duties or having contact with children in care, each caregiver or employee must have orientation that includes: (1) An overview of the relevant and applicable rules of this chapter;(2) Your philosophy, organizational structure, policies, and a description of the services and programs you offer; and(3) The needs and characteristics of children that you serve.(b) You must document the completion of the orientation in the appropriate personnel record.26 Tex.
