Section 306.271 - MH Case Management Employee Qualifications(a) A case manager must be: (2) an employee of the provider; and(3) competent according to § 306.273 of this title (relating to MH Case Management Employee Competencies).(b) The provider may require additional education and experience for a case manager.(c) An employee who supervises a case manager must be an employee of the provider and either: (2) be competent according to § 306.273 of this title and have experience in providing MH case management services; or(3) hold a master's degree in a related field;306.273(5) demonstrate competency in knowledge of community resources; and(6) demonstrate competency in MH case management evidenced-based practices.26 Tex.
