A permit-issuing authority may issue to a carrier, an extended permit authorized under § 70:03:01:113 for the movement on any state trunk highway of a fleet of oversize vehicles operated by a single carrier. The permit is assigned to the carrier. The carrier shall make a copy of the permit for each vehicle requiring a permit. The carrier shall fill in the blanks for make of truck, state, license number, and serial number for the vehicle covered by the copy of the permit. The carrier shall place that copy of the permit in the vehicle.
Any permit issued under this rule shall be issued at no cost.
