The total areas set aside for patient dining, recreation, and other central use areas may not be less than 45 square feet (4.18 square meters) for each bed. The patient dining space shall be at least 25 square feet (2.32 square meters) for each bed. Storage shall be provided for recreational equipment and supplies.
