Section 44:05:04:19 - Nonmedical equipmentEach ground ambulance must be equipped with the following nonmedical equipment:
(1) One five-pound dry chemical multi-use handheld fire extinguisher approved by Underwriters Laboratories and certified by an independent fire extinguisher company within the past calendar year, mounted for easy access;(2) An emergency response handbook;(3) Reflective non-igniting warning devices to mark road hazards;(4) A "No Smoking" sign permanently affixed in the front and patient compartments; and(5) Working seatbelts and safety restraints for patient, crew, and family.S.D.
