Section 44:05:04:18 - Available nonmedical equipment

Each ground ambulance must be equipped with the following nonmedical equipment or have the equipment immediately available on the scene of a response from other sources:

(1) One crescent wrench;

(2) One screwdriver with regular blade;

(3) One Phillips screwdriver;

(4) One vise-grip pliers;

(5) One sixteen-ounce hammer;

(6) One fire axe, crowbar with a pinch point, or wrecking bar;

(7) One bolt cutter; and

(8) One portable hydraulic jack or spreader tool with four-ton capacity.
