If any hand-held intra-oral radiographic device is damaged or lost, licensee shall notify the department of the damage or loss within 48 hours. If a device is damaged, licensee shall take the device immediately out of service and may not return the device to service until the device is repaired and tested for proper operation. Licensee shall maintain documentation at the facility that the device has been repaired, tested, and is safe to be placed back in operation.
