Section 44:03:01:08.07 - Equipment standards for mobile X ray equipment

In addition to § 44:03:01:08.02 all mobile X ray equipment must:

(1) Meet the specifications in 21 C.F.R. § 1020.30, in effect on March 31, 2000, 21 C.F.R. § 1020.31, in effect on July 2, 1999, and 21 C.F.R. § 1020.32, in effect on May 19, 1994; and

(2) Have the exposure switch located so the operator can stand at least six feet from the useful beam. unless sufficient shielding is provided to protect the operator from stray radiation, in which case the exposure switch may be located closer.
