For comprehensive support and improvement schools failing to meet the exit criteria referenced in § 24:55:04:06 after four years of interventions, the department shall require the school to re-evaluate and revise its school improvement plan in collaboration with the school support team professional following the results of another comprehensive needs assessment to be conducted during the fifth year of designation. The school improvement plan that results from this process shall include the use of evidence-based interventions.
