Section 20:69:10:01 - DefinitionsThe following terms apply to this chapter:
(1) "Analysis," the act or process of providing information, recommendations, or conclusions on diversified problems in real estate other than estimating value, for another and for compensation;(2) "Appraisal," the act or process of estimating value of real estate for another and for compensation;(3) "Cash flow analysis," an analysis of the anticipated movement of cash in or out of real estate;(4) "Feasibility analysis," an analysis of the cost-benefit relationship of an economic endeavor;(5) "Investment analysis," an analysis that reflects the relationship between acquisition price and anticipated future benefits of a real estate investment;(6) "Market analysis," an analysis of real estate market conditions for a specific type of property;(7) "Report," any communication, written or oral, of an appraisal, review, or analysis; and(8) "Review," the act or process of critically studying a report prepared by another, for another, and for compensation.S.D.
