Section 17:50:10:02 - Outgoing mail

Outgoing mail addressed to someone other than an attorney, judge, officer of the court, legal services, the Governor of South Dakota, or the secretary of the South Dakota Department of Corrections may be opened and read but may not be censored in accordance with § 17:50:10:07.
