Section 835-RICR-10-00-1.7 - Preliminary InvestigationsA. Whenever authorized by law, the Commission may conduct preliminary investigations into matters under its jurisdiction. Upon the completion of such investigations: 1. if the Commission shall make a determination that a violation probably has not been or is not being engaged in, the Commission shall proceed no further;2. if the Commission shall make a determination that a violation probably has been or is being engaged in, the Commission shall proceed as provided by law.B.
