Section 280-RICR-30-20-2.3 - DefinitionsA. Except as otherwise indicated, the following definitions shall apply:1. "Applicant" means any individual, firm, corporation, partnership or agency that has filed a Motor Vehicle Leasing License Application.2. "Application" means Motor Vehicle Leasing License Application.3. "Deputy Director" means the Deputy Director for Motor Vehicles or his designee.4. "Division" means the Division of Motor Vehicles5. "Lessee" means any person or form which leases a motor vehicle under a contractual arrangement in which a charge is made for its use when title to the vehicle is in a person or firm than the user.6. "Motor vehicle lessor" means any person or firm engaged in the business of regularly making available, offering to make available, or arranging for another person to use a motor vehicle pursuant to a bailment, lease, or other contractual arrangement under which a charge is made for its use at a periodic rate for any length of time, and title to the motor vehicle is in a person or firm other than the user.280 R.I.
