Section 230-145-0007 - Fouls
(1) Any strike other than an open palm strike while one or both competitors are grounded.
(2) Butting with the head.
(3) Eye gouging.
(4) Biting or spitting at an opponent.
(5) Fish Hooking.
(6) Hair pulling.
(7) Spiking the opponent to the canvas onto the head or neck (pile-driving).
(8) Strikes to the spine or the back of the head. The spine includes the tailbone.
(9) Throat strikes of any kind and/or grabbing the trachea.
(10) Fingers outstretched toward an opponent's face/eyes.
(11) Groin attacks of any kind.
(12) Holding opponent's shorts or clothing.
(13) Holding or grabbing the fence or ropes with fingers or toes.
(14) Small joint manipulation.
(15) Throwing an opponent out of the fenced or ringed or designated competition area.
(16) Intentionally placing a finger into any orifice, or into any cut or laceration of the opponent.
(17) Clawing, pinching, twisting the flesh.
(18) Timidity (avoiding contact, or consistently dropping a mouthpiece or faking an injury).
(19) Use of abusive language in the secure barrier area.
(20) Flagrant disregard of the referee's instructions.
(21) Unsportsmanlike conduct that causes an injury to their opponent.
(22) Attacking an opponent after the bell or airhorn has sounded the end of the round.
(23) Attacking an opponent who is under the care of the referee.
(24) Slams to avoid a submission.
(25) Heel hooks or twisting leg locks where the primary mechanism of attack involves twisting the knee in any amateur competition.
(26) Knee reaping in any amateur competition where the reap is used to attack the knee directly. Unless in the sole discretion of the referee, the reap is intended to affect the balance or posture and not pressure the knee directly.
