I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, to honor the life of Friendship Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Madison Lee Clinton, Jr., who was tragically killed in the line of duty on Friday, August 10, 2018.

Madison "Maddy" Lee Clinton Jr. was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and graduated from Navajo School in 1982 and Western Oklahoma State College in 1985. He worked as an electric lineman for AEP/PSO for 24 years and also served as a volunteer firefighter with the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department. He leaves behind a loving wife, Sandra, and two daughters. His honorable service to our state will never be forgotten.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.
