Any water well equipment, pump and pitless unit equipment, or monitoring well equipment operating in North Dakota must prominently display a decal on the primary equipment that is under the charge of a certified water well contractor, pump and pitless unit installer, or monitoring well contractor. Before beginning the operation of any water well equipment, pump and pitless unit equipment, or monitoring well equipment, the certified water well contractor, pump and pitless unit installer, or monitoring well contractor in charge shall secure from the board such a decal and cause it to be placed on the primary equipment.
