Section 75-03-36-38 - Foster care - Family foster care providerThe child-placing agency shall adopt a written policy that describes how the child-placing agency will:
1. Recruit foster care providers and evaluate the homes' suitability to meet the individual and specialized needs of children in foster care, including identifying providers who support cultural diversity and inclusion;2. License foster care providers according to North Dakota Century Code chapter 50-11 and North Dakota Administrative Code chapter 75-03-14;3. Place children in foster care in licensed foster care provider homes;4. Make available, and ensure foster care providers complete orientation and required training;5. Provide ongoing supervision to ensure foster care providers have the training necessary to provide quality care; and6. Ensure foster care providers have the necessary support from the child-placing agency and custodial agency.N.D. Admin Code 75-03-36-38
