Section 13:95-11.6 - Release of juveniles in Protective Custody Units(a) A juvenile who has voluntarily signed himself or herself into protective custody may sign himself or herself out upon completion of a Form J146-IV, provided the Classification Committee and the Superintendent or designee are satisfied that there is no known danger to the juvenile's well-being.(b) A juvenile who has been placed in protective custody involuntarily may be released by the Superintendent or designee, upon recommendation by the Classification Committee when they are satisfied that the conditions giving rise to the juvenile's placement in protective custody have abated or do not exist.N.J.
