Section 13:85-3.1 - Successful completion of the MSE Basic Skills Level course
(a) To successfully complete the Basic Skills Level course, a participant shall:
1. Attend, participate in, and successfully complete each unit of the curriculum;
2. Achieve a score of at least 80 percent correct responses on a written motorcycle knowledge test consisting of 50 multiple choice questions; and
3. Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of a motorcycle by achieving a score of not more than 20 penalty points assessed by the examining rider coach during a motorcycle skill test.
(b) A participant who successfully completes the course shall receive the appropriate course completion documents.
