The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
"State-approved eye examination" means the visual acuity and color perception tests administered to applicants for special learners' permits in accordance with N.J.A.C. 13:21-8.9 through 8.11, who are under contract with the driving school for behind-the-wheel instruction.
"State-approved written drivers' examination" means the 50-question written law knowledge test administered in English to applicants for special learners' permits in accordance with N.J.A.C. 13:21-8.6, who are under contract with the driving school for behind-the-wheel instruction.
