Section 13:20-50A.23 - Springs and shackles

(a) The capacity of the springs or suspension assemblies shall be commensurate with the chassis manufacturer's GVWR.

(b) If leaf-type rear springs are used, they shall be of a progressive-type.

(c) Springs shall be aligned by a centering pin.

(d) U-bolts shall be secured by nuts.
