Section Pari 805.02 - Duties of the Board
(a) Pursuant to RSA 284:20-b the board shall:
(1) Make recommendations to the commission on applications for occupational licenses;
(2) Fill vacancies among the racing officials as soon as vacancies occur;
(3) Determine the order of finish pursuant to Pari 805.05;
(4) Decide issues arising under:
a.Pari 805.05;
b.Pari 808.02;
c.Pari 808.03;
d.Pari 808.04;
e.Pari 808.05;
f.Pari 808.06(d), (e) and (j);
g.Pari 808.07;
h.Pari 808.08;
i.Pari 808.09;
j.Pari 808.10;
k.Pari 808.11;
l.Pari 808.12; and
m.Pari 808.13;
(5) Except as specified in (b) below, decide any issues raised by written complaints that a specified race was unfair in any respect;
(6) Investigate and make recommendations to the commission on issues arising under Pari 808.06(a)-(c) and (f)-(i) and Pari 808.14; and
(7) Report to the commission as required by Pari 805.04.
(b) The board shall not decide claims of misconduct by judges.
(c) The board shall:
(1) Record and investigate promptly all issues raised and written complaints submitted to it;
(2) Order a physical examination by the commission veterinarian of any greyhound if the board's investigation would be incomplete without the examination;
(3) Promptly report to the commission decisions made pursuant to (a) (4) or (a) (5) above; and
(4) Promptly report to the commission the results of investigations and recommendations made pursuant to (a) (6) above.
