Section Pari 803.07 - Duties of the Clerk of Scales

The clerk of scales shall:

(a) Weigh in the greyhounds before they enter the lock-out kennel;

(b) Weigh out the greyhounds after they exit the lock-out kennel;

(c) Record the weight-in and weigh-out weights;

(d) Ensure that all greyhounds are weighed in and out in a uniform manner;

(e) Promptly report to the announcer for public announcement the weigh-out weight; and

(f) Periodically test the accuracy of the scale by using a known weight.
