Section Pari 802.04 - Greyhound Racing Facilities

(a) Licensees shall provide and maintain the facilities required by Pari 500.

(b) In addition, licensees shall provide and maintain in good working order:

(1) The lure used on the course;

(2) An accurate scale for the weighing of greyhounds; and

(3) Starting boxes.

(c) Licensees shall also provide and maintain:

(1) A kennel compound which:

a. Is on the racing premises; and

b. Provides safe and humane housing for greyhounds;

(2) A paddock area including a lock-out kennel; and

(3) A test area for taking specimens of urine, saliva, blood and other bodily substances.

(d) The test area shall be equipped with:

(1) A walking area that is large enough to accommodate 2 greyhounds at the same time; and

(2) Hot and cold running water.
