The employer shall ensure that, dock-boards, meaning metal plates used to bridge the gap between a loading dock and truck over which industrial trucks travel to load or unload shall meet the following requirements:
(a) Dock-boards shall be strong enough to carry the load imposed on them;(b) Dock-boards that are portable shall be anchored or equipped with devices which shall prevent their slipping. They shall have handholds or other effective means to allow safe handling; and(c) Wheel chocks or other devices shall be provided to prevent railroad cars from being moved while dock-boards are in position.N.H.
