Section Lab 1403.16 - Disposal ChutesThe employer shall ensure compliance with the following requirements:
(a) Whenever materials are dropped more than 20 feet to any exterior point of a building, an enclosed chute shall be used; and(b) When debris is dropped through holes in the floor without the use of chutes, the area where the material is dropped shall be enclosed with barricades not less than 42 inches high and not less than 6 feet back from the projected edges of the opening above. Warning signs of the hazard of falling material shall be posted at each level.N.H. Admin. Code § Lab 1403.16
