Section He-M 1007.08 - Refunds(a) The provider shall refund a tenant's periodic payments to the tenant within 30 days of vacancy for any of the following reasons: (1) No claim for payment is brought by the landlord within 30 days of vacancy; or(2) A landlord's claim is less than the amount paid by the tenant.(b) If (a) (2) above applies, a partial refund equal to the difference between the landlord's claim and the tenant's payments shall be paid to the tenant.(c) If a refund can not be made because the tenant can not be located, the provider shall make a reasonable effort to locate the tenant.N.H.
