Section He-C 6443.06 - Notice to Legally Liable School Districts: Emergency Residential Placements of Students Who Are or Might Be Educationally Disabled(a) When a residential placement of a student who is or might be educationally disabled is made or changed as the result of an emergency, the division shall give written notice of the residential placement or change in residential placement to the legally liable school districts on "Form Notice That Placement Has Been Changed". The written notice shall be given promptly but no more than 5 days after receipt by the division of notice of the residential placement or change in residential placement. The division shall be deemed to receive notice of residential placement or change in residential placement when a representative of the division has actual knowledge of the residential placement or the change in residential placement.(b) The written notice to the legally liable school district shall contain: (1) The name of the student;(2) The name and address of the student's residential placement prior to the emergency;(3) The name of the sending and receiving districts for the residential placement prior to the emergency;(4) The name and address of the current placement;(5) The date of the current placement; and(6) A request that the sending district send copies of the educational records of the student in their possession within 2 working days to: a. The receiving district for the new residential placement; orb. The new residential placement if no receiving school district exists for the new residential placement.N.H. Admin. Code § He-C 6443.06
