Section Fis 405.06 - White Suckers
(a) In addition to angling and ice fishing, white suckers may be taken by hand dip nets not over 18 inches in diameter, drop nets not over 48 inches in diameter, spears or bow and arrow with cord attached, between March 1 and May 31, except as otherwise provided in Fis 406 and Fis 407.
(b) In addition to angling and ice fishing, white suckers may be taken for personal use as bait by use of traps, made of wire slats not more than 50 inches long nor more than 30 inches wide, with an aperture for the entrance of fish no smaller than 3 and 1/2 inches in diameter, except as otherwise provided in Fis 406 and Fis 407. No more than 2 traps shall be used by a licensed fisherman, and all bait traps, holding boxes or other receptacles shall be plainly marked with the name and address of the owner and user.
(c) White suckers taken by spear or bow and arrow shall be suitably disposed of, and not left in, or adjacent to, the body of water so as to create a nuisance, odor or pollution of the body of water.
(d) The provisions of RSA 207:10 and RSA 211:13 shall not apply to persons taking white suckers as provided in this section.
