Section Env-Dw 709.04 - General System Evaluation Bacteria Samples

Any general system evaluation total coliform sample collected to investigate potential problems in the distribution system, such as those taken to determine whether disinfection practices are sufficient following pipe placement, replacement, or repair, shall be used to determine compliance if the sample:

(a) Is representative of water being supplied to consumers; and

(b) Is positive for E. coli bacteria.
