Section 555.Sec. 9.1 - NEWA natural person who is employed by a city, county, state or other governmental agency and who desires to be licensed as a non-private applicator to apply or supervise the application of any general-use pesticide must:
1. Complete and file with the Department an application for the license, identifying each category of pest control on which he or she wishes to be examined; and2. Pass a written examination to demonstrate his or her:(a) Practical knowledge of each category of pest control identified in the application; and(b) Knowledge of general-use pesticides and the following subjects as they relate to such pesticides: (1) Labeling and the comprehension of labels;(2) The environmental consequences of the use and misuse of pesticides;(4) Equipment used in the application of pesticides;(5) Techniques for the application of pesticides;(6) The requirements of state and federal statutes and regulations relating to pesticides; and(7) Safety in the handling and application of pesticides.Nev.
