The Department shall notify the Governor of the State and the appropriate public districts, cities, counties, political subdivisions and agencies of the State or of the Federal government of the land(s) scheduled to be sold. Such notification shall indicate the proposed date(s) of sale and shall summarize the process by which public entities may acquire such lands for public purposes.
