In addition to the provisions outlined in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-1601 through 84-1615, employees who are eligible for retirement and do retire, will be afforded the opportunity to continue health insurance coverage in the group plan until they become Medicare eligible. The employee will be responsible for the entire cost of the premium for the plan chosen, which includes the normal employee contribution and the normal State contribution.
