Rule 23.12.802 - RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR CERTIFICATION(1) A retail establishment is eligible to apply for certification with the department if: (a) it is at least 5000 square feet in size;(b) it sells 1000 separate items of product;(c) it has a secure display location not accessible to customers, either behind a store counter or in a locked case, available for selling products that contain ephedrine or pseudoephedrine;(d) it limits sales of products containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine to packages containing no more than a total of nine grams; and(e) it agrees to track customer sales and to prevent a customer from purchasing more than nine grams of products containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine in any 30-day period.Mont.
