Record-keeping requirements for auction markets. Markets must collect a completed "Record of Ear Tags Applied" form from each seller presenting animals that require official identification. This form shall list existing tag numbers or the serial tag number applied at the sale. All of these documents must be made available for inspection upon request and maintained as official records for five years./26/04
