The J-1 Visa Waiver physician must remain in employment for a total of not less than three (3) years, at the site(s) listed in the ARC J-1 Visa Waiver Application and for which the waiver is approved, unless the physician petitions the United States Citizen and Immigration Services for early termination of the 3-year period because the practice site closes or due to extenuating circumstances.
