Trauma Centers desiring renewal of their designation must submit a new application (downloaded from the Department's Trauma website) no later than 90 days prior to expiration of designation. The original signed application and two copies must be submitted to the appropriate Trauma Care Region. The region will review the application and forward the original application and one copy to the Department, along with any comments the region may have regarding the application. The application must be received at the Department no later than 60 days prior to expiration of designation. The Department will acknowledge receipt of the application within 30 days to the applicant hospital and begin the designation process as provided by this regulation.
