Section XXXIX-1011 - Size RequirementsA. On developed sites around buildings and along highway rights-of-way, a minimum tree size for planting is 1 inch caliper and 5 feet tall. The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry can require larger planting stock when deemed necessary for adequate survival.
