Section III-5125 - AuthorityA. The Louisiana Pathways Child Care Career Development System (LA Pathways) is the state practitioner registry maintained by the Department of Social Services. LA Pathways offers child care staff, including directors, teachers, assistant teachers and other classroom staff, a formal mechanism to track their training and educational attainment, experience and professional affiliation in the field of early care and education.La.
