Section I-975 - Sausage Ingredients, Milk Components [Formerly 49:3.1905]A. Milk, skimmed milk, dried milk, dried skim milk, malted milk, and analogous substances and products which may be approved for such purpose, may be added to sausage provided their use does not result in added water or moisture in excess of the amount permitted in §974 Sausage shall not contain dried milk or any other milk or milk product in excess of 3.5 percent, and if cereal, vegetable starch or vegetable flour is also added, the combined amount of all such products shall not exceed 3.5 percent.La.
