Section XXIII-105 - ObjectivesA. The objectives of these regulations are as follows: 1. to establish a certification program for operators of Type II, II-A, and III solid waste processing and disposal facilities which accommodate residential and commercial solid waste;2. to develop procedures related to certification, recertification, and training of applicants to meet appropriate certification requirements;3. to establish procedures for revocation, modification, or suspension of an operator's certification;4. to establish appropriate fees for examination, certification, and recertification to be paid by the applicant; and5. to encourage the certification of all Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality employees involved in the inspection and permitting of solid waste processing and disposal facilities.La.
