Section LX-3101 - License of Title for Marriage and Family TherapyA. As stated in R.S. 37:1122(A), no person, unless licensed as a marriage and family therapist, shall advertise as being a "licensed marriage and family therapist" or hold themselves out to the public or make use of any title, words, letters or abbreviations that may reasonably be confused with the title "licensed marriage and family therapist."B. As stated in R.S. 37:1122(A), no person, unless he/she holds a provisional license as a provisional licensed marriage and family therapist, shall advertise as being a "provisional licensed marriage and family therapist" or hold themselves out to the public or make use of any title, words, letters or abbreviations that may reasonably be confused with the title "provisional licensed marriage and family therapist."La.
