Section XVII-2907 - Decision; AppealA. The hearing officer shall render a decision within 10 days after the hearing is held. Written notification of the decision shall be mailed to the interested parties. The decision will become final within 15 days unless an appeal is filed.B. The agency may appeal the decision to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services within 15 days after the receipt of the decision.
