Section CXLI-503 - Organizational Principles

A. There are six mathematics strands:

1. number and Number Relations;

2. algebra;

3. geometry;

4. measurement;

5. data analysis, probability, and discrete math; and

6. Patterns, Relations, and Functions.

B. GLEs, linked across the grade span and appropriate for academic instruction for students with significant cognitive disabilities, are the basis of the extended standards.
