Sec. 9.
(a) "Head loss" means the total pressure drop in pounds per square inch (kilo Pascals) or feet (meters) or head between the inlet and the outlet of a component.(b) "High rate sand filter" means a sand filter designed for flows in excess of five (5) gallons per minute per square foot.(c) "Hydrojet booster pump system" means a system whereby one (1) or more hydrojets are activated by the use of a pump which is completely independent of the filtration and heating system of a spa.(d) "Hydrojets" means a fitting which blends air and water creating a high velocity, turbulent stream of air enriched water.
