Sec. 1.
(a) This rule shall be known as the administrative rule for the board of firefighting personnel standards and education for general use and distribution under that title. Whenever the term "this rule" is used throughout this rule, it shall mean the administrative rule for the board.(b) The purpose of this rule is to provide for the administration of a voluntary program for certification of: (1) fire service personnel;(2) fire department instructors;(3) firefighting training and education programs; and(4) nonfire service persons; by the board.(c) This rule is available for review and copying from the board, 302 West Washington Street, Room E239, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
