Section 440 IAC 1.5-1-5.2 - "Licensed independent practitioner" or "LIP" defined

Sec. 5.2.

"Licensed independent practitioner" or "LIP" means an individual permitted by state law and by the policy of a facility to order restraint or seclusion for consumers independently within the scope of the individual's license and consistent with the clinical privileges granted to that individual.
