Section 440 IAC 10-1-57 - "Titration" defined

Sec. 57.

"Titration" means the induction of opioid treatment medication in which initial low doses are used to test patient tolerance with the goal of achieving the correct dosage as clinically determined on an individualized basis given the:

(1) known pharmacology of the medication; and

(2) clinical responsiveness of the patient.
