Sec. 116.
(a) Introduced species may be used in the revegetation process where desirable and necessary to achieve the approved postmining land use plan if approved by the director under the following conditions:(1) The species are compatible with the plant and animal species of the region.(2) The species meet the requirements of applicable Indiana seed or introduced species statutes and are not poisonous or noxious.(b) As used in this section, "native species" means a species previously introduced and adapted to the state in the general vicinity of the coal producing region.
