Section 15-214-9 - Key deposit

When a tenant requires access to a space or area secured by a HCDA lock, a key shall be furnished; provided the person deposits the following amount with HCDA prior to receiving the key as security for prompt return of the key when access is no longer required:

(1) Two hundred dollars if the access is required for a period of more than ninety days; or
(2) Five hundred dollars if the access is required for a period of less than ninety days.

The deposit shall be forfeited in the event the key is not returned to HCDA when access is no longer required.
